Floor patterns
Given the scale of 28mm buildings, it's usually not that important to hand paint floor surfaces, particularly tiling effects. In addition, if you actually use the internal spaces of buildings as playing surfaces (i.e. it's fun to storm a building and bash the enemy up close) a printout of the flooring rather than a textured surface makes it easier to slide troops across to where they need to be to take the fight to the enemy. It's for this reason that some plans are produced here (but there is an exception I've just come across).
Note: The images here are small jpg so may not be suitable for printing. Use the ai file instead so you can scale and change it. Print these out on heavyweight paper/card. If you want the high resolution jpg, just mail me and I'll convert them and send them.
Pavers
This rectangular paving pattern is made a little more interesting with the addition of the half-sized pavers. It may even be used for lower level brickwork on the side of a building. This forms the flooring for a rather robust watchtower I have been building which will feature here as soon as I get some more work done on it.

The chapel floor is a hack job, but it will inspire me some time to make a better job of it by putting in something more original for a pattern. The concept I have in mind is La Sainte-Chapelle in Paris (see my pics here) which I have started to model a basic structure, suitably divergent from the real thing. I have begun making the exterior walls and jumped ahead to printing out the floor just so I could put a model inside to get a sense of scale for the building. The fleur-de-lys are just where the altar space would be. Watch this space...

Stained glass

Again inspired by La Sainte-Chapelle this file can be printed on transparencies and then pasted into your building's window frames. Unfortunately my photo of the main glass was poor although a 28mm scale it is not too bad an effort. The side windows could have been more genuine but again, given the scale, these panes of colour work well enough.

This next one is a continuation along the length of the chapel of almost 'Y-tracery' windows. Eventually I will add additional glass for the lower floor of the chapel and maybe some ornamental glass for doors.

There is also a template on this sheet that you can use to cut out the window frames. It's best to keep the mullion (the bit that divides the window into two seperate parts, plus the splay at the top) as part of your frame so cut out the white space only.
